Tickets For Upcoming Events

Hello! My name is Lottie Williams (she/her), and I’m really looking forward to exploring a world of creativity with you at the Young Writers’ Group in Chapter One. I already have some ideas planned, but I also want to work with your interests and creative goals too – so do bring those thoughts with you. We shall explore a variety of forms and genres, play with words, images, meaning and energy, whilst always being aware that writing is a mindful activity that can boost our wellbeing. Whether you are just starting out on your writing journey, or have been writing for a while, you are welcome. Our group will be friendly, supportive, inclusive, varied and engaging. See you there!

Lottie Williams (she/her) is an award winning writer and writing practitioner. She has worked with charities, social enterprises, schools and private groups across West Wales, holding knowledge and experience from training with the Literature Wales Sgwennu Well | Writing Well programme, an MA in Creative Writing, and as an English teacher. Her debut book, The Edge of Everything was released last year. As winner of the Nigel Jenkins Literary Award, and a Pushcart Prize nominee, her writing is published in print and online, including Modron, Firewords and Nation.Cymru.

You’re welcome to book for one session at a time or multiple sessions. If you’d like to book for the whole course, please select five tickets (£50) and you’ll automatically get the sixth for free.

If cost is a barrier, we have three free places to offer (either per week or for the whole course) on a first come, first served basis. Please contact Lorna at lorna@narberthmuseum.co.uk to request one of these places.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Lorna at the email above.

To book email Rebecca at rebeccatrickwalker@gmail.com.

Rebecca Trick-Walker is a Pembrokeshire writer.  She has written several plays broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and has had short stories published in literary magazines and anthologies including Mslexia.  Her first novel was longlisted for the Bath Novel Award and she was shortlisted for the prestigious V.S. Pritchett Short Story prize in 2025.

We run a writing group that aims to support writers at whatever stage of their writing life they’re in. The friendly, relaxed sessions will offer chances to write, to share, to get feedback and to talk about writing as well as sometimes playing host to writer talks and workshops.

Whether you’re a poet, a playwright, a novelist – or something else – the group will provide a chance to build a writing community for an area flourishing with creativity!

Our sessions are on the fourth Saturday of every month from 10:30-12 noon with our next being on Saturday 26th September followed by Saturday 24th October and Saturday 28th November.

Click the link to book your place for as many sessions as you like, one to ten (if you book ten the other two are free!)

Come and spend the day creating your own seasonal woven wall hanging at Narberth Museum.

Taking inspiration from the colours and textures each season brings, you will learn or develop the basics of weaving, depending on your experience. This will take place on a simple table-top wooden frame loom, using a bodkin needle to weave with. You may wish to choose one season for your weaving theme or a combination of all four, either reflecting the wintery season we’ll be in or evoking warmth and light from the qualities of the other seasons.

All materials will be provided. For more info visit and to book visit https://www.starflowerarts.com/weave-the-seasons.html
